The city of Southfield will announce the winner of the 2019 Southfield Photo Prize at an awards reception on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 26000 Evergreen Road.

The city of Southfield sponsored the 3^rd Southfield Photo Prize competition and outdoor exhibition this summer to showcase the natural and architectural beauty throughout the city. Nearly 150 submissions were received and initially reviewed by the Total Living Commission which selected the top 25 photos that were eligible for public voting from June 10 – August 30. The Photo Prize finalists were enlarged and placed on public display at city hall and the parks & recreation building with online voting at www.cityofsouthfield.com. The photograph that received the most overall votes will be featured in the City’s 2020 calendar. The other finalists may also be featured in the calendar and other city marketing materials. All Photo Prize finalists will also receive their enlarged photos to keep.
