Southfield City Hall, 46^th District Court and the Southfield Public Library will remain closed today (Friday, February 18, 2022) due to the hazardous road conditions.

Residents are requested to move all vehicles from Southfield streets to help facilitate snow plows and emergency vehicles. Residents are also encouraged to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

By City Code, homeowners, renters and businesses are responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and curb cuts in front of their homes within a twenty-four (24) consecutive hour time period. Residents are also reminded to not leave pets outside and to assist elderly or handicapped residents who may need help with snow removal. Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe!
