Oak Park Pool open for Southfield residents this summer

The City of Southfield and the City of Oak Park have once again entered into an intergovernmental agreement that will allow Southfield residents to use the Oak Park Pool throughout the summer at resident rates. The mechanical issues at the Oak Park Pool have been repaired and the pool is now open to Southfield residents for the 2023 season, which will run through Saturday, August 19.
The first Southfield Day at the Oak Park Pool will be Sunday, July 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Southfield Days are special swim times where Southfield residents can enjoy free admission along with swimming, activities, and more. Additional Southfield Days at the Oak Park Pool are scheduled for July 29, August 5 and August 13.
The Oak Park Pool is located at 14300 Oak Park Blvd. (between Greenfield and Coolidge) and features zero depth entry and a splash zone for the kids to enjoy.
Open swim hours are Monday-Thursday from 2-7 p.m., Friday from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. The daily resident rates are $4 per day for residents ages 4-54 and $3 per day for residents ages 55 and up. Children ages 3 and under are free.
