D.    25155 Greenfield Road (Grove Kosher Market – construction of storage building at the rear of the property for accessory for the market)

1.    PZR24-0004 (REZONING) is a request of Whitmore Investments LLC to rezone the parcel at 25155 Greenfield Road, Southfield, Michigan (Parcel 24-24-481-020) from B-3 General Business and P Vehicular Parking to all B-3 General Business.

2.    PSP24-0008 (SITE PLAN REVIEW) is a request of Whitmore Investments LLC, to construct a product storage building accessory to the grocery store on the same site at 25155 Greenfield Road, Southfield, Michigan (Parcel 24-24-481-020).

E.    28681 Northwestern Highway (Addition of beer/wine/liquor sales to a gas station/convenience store under development per PSLU21-0011 & PSP21-0012 approved 05/23/2022)

1.    PSLU24-0012 (SPECIAL USE) is a request of Teer Management, L.L.C. to add beer/wine/liquor sales to a gas station/convenience store under development at 28681 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, Michigan (Parcel 24-18-276-054).

F.    27000 Telegraph Road (Glassman KIA – construction of a new vehicle showroom and service building)

1.    PSP24-0009 (SITE PLAN REVIEW) is a request of GHG Detroit LLC to construct a new vehicle showroom and service building at 27000 Telegraph Road, Southfield, Michigan (Parcel 24-17-426-008).

G.    21246 8 ½ Mile and 21251 Midway (Rezoning two platted lots and the rear of a third lot from R-1 Single Family to R-T Attached Single Family, a total of 1 acre)

1.    PZR24-0006 (Rezoning) is a request of Maximillian Neuser to rezone two parcels located at 21246 8 ½ Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan (Parcels 24-34-326-018 & -019) and the rear 91 feet of 21251 Midway Avenue (Parcel 24-34-178-006) from R-1 Single Family to R-T Attached Single Family.

H.    Lahser Woods Park (Add dog park, paths and other improvements to an existing City park on the west side of Lahser Road between W 11 Mile and W 12 Mile Roads)

2.    PSLU24-0013 (SPECIAL USE) is a request of the City of Southfield Parks and Recreation Department to improve an existing park by adding a dog park, paths and other improvements to Lahser Woods Park located on the west side of Lahser Road between W 11 Mile and W 12 Mile Roads, Southfield, Michigan (Parcels 24-16-476-032 and -043).

3.    PSP24-0010 (SITE PLAN REVIEW) is a request of the City of Southfield Parks and Recreation Department to improve an existing park by adding a dog park, paths and other improvements to Lahser Woods Park located on the west side of Lahser Road between W 11 Mile and W 12 Mile Roads, Southfield, Michigan (Parcels 24-16-476-032 and -043).

J.    Public Comment – A person addressing the Commission shall be limited to a period of three (3) minutes unless such period of time is extended by the presiding officer or by majority vote of the Commission. 

The following Rules of Procedure have been established for all speakers:  

  • No speaker may make personal or impertinent attacks upon any officer, employee, or Planning Commission member, that is unrelated to the manner in which the officer, employee, or Planning Commission member, performs his or her duties.
  • No person shall use abusive or threatening language toward any individual when addressing the Planning Commission.

Any person who violates this section shall be directed by the presiding officer to be orderly and silent.  If a person addressing the Planning Commission refuses to become silent when so directed, such person may be deemed by the presiding officer to have committed a “breach of the peace” by disrupting and impeding the orderly conduct of the public meeting of the Planning Commission and may be ordered by the presiding officer to leave the meeting.  If the person refuses to leave as directed, the presiding officer may take whatever actions are necessary to remove the person from the meeting. Call in number for Communication will be provided the night of the meeting.
