The Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host Taste of Southfield on Tuesday, September 11 from 5-8 p.m. at the Best Western Premier Hotel, 26555 Telegraph Road. 

The Taste of Southfield is one of the Chamber’s premier annual events and will feature a sampling of local restaurants and banquet facilities, including: Beans & Cornbread, Bigalora, Cake Crumbs, Captain Jay’s Fish & Chicken, Fire Iron Grill – Marriott, Fuddruckers, Happy Pizza, Las Cazuelas Grill, Motor City Soul Food, Naf Naf Grill, Nomad Grill, Olga’s, Outback Steakhouse, Pi Banquet Hall and Catering, Regency Manor, Shriner’s Silver Garden, Sweet Magnolia’s, Towne Square Food & Spirits and Tropical Smoothie Café.

The event will also include music and dancing, shopping with local vendors and the best restaurant contest. For the third year, the event will feature an Edible Creations Competition. The competition, modeled after popular Food Network show, “Chopped,” challenges contestants to create a dish using an assigned ingredient.

Tickets can be purchased at www.tinyurl.com/TasteOfSouthfield2018 and are $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members in advance or $30 at the door. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Southfield Police Department.
