The city of Southfield Building Department has launched the BS&A Online permit application system to help streamline the permit application process.

Residents and contractors can now apply and pay for all permits and schedule inspections (with few exceptions) right from the comfort of their home or office at https://bsaonline.com/?uid=272. BS&A Online also offers users other useful tools such as residential, rental property and other record searches as well as the ability to make additional online payments including property taxes and special assessments.

“The new BS&A Online permit application portal not only offers the community a convenient new tool, this system also greatly helps to expedite the entire permit process,” commented Southfield Building Official Mark Pilot. “I think that residents and contractors will find this to be a very user-friendly and effective new way to do business with the City.”
