The city of Southfield Parks & Recreation and Human Services Departments, in conjunction with the Commission on Senior Adults (COSA), will host Senior (50+) Appreciation Night on Wednesday, August 28 from 6–8 p.m. at the Burgh Historical Park, located at 26080 Berg Road at the corner of Civic Center Drive and Berg Road.

Senior Appreciation Night is Southfield’s way to thank our senior population for all they have and continue to contribute to the community. The night's festivities will include live entertainment from The Sun Messengers Motown Revue, door prizes, a vendor area where seniors can get information on services and assistance available as well as a free hot dog dinner with chips and pop.

The event is free and open to all Southfield seniors. Bring a lawn chair for seating and umbrellas in the case of rain. Call Senior Services at (248) 796-4650 for more information.
