The Southfield/Lathrup Village Democratic Club, in partnership with Southfield Human Services, will sponsor a free Juneteenth Drive-Up Food Distribution on Friday, June 19 from 1-3 p.m. in the circular drive in front of the Parks & Recreation Building, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Nonperishable food items will be provided from individual donations as well sponsor Clarence Doss Law Firm.  Attendees will drive up and a bag of food will be placed in their trunk without having to leave car. Attendees are requested to wear facemasks and practice social distancing.

Donations can be delivered to the Human Services Department on Tuesday, June 16 and Wednesday, June 17 from 3 -5 p.m. Volunteers are also needed to assist with packing the bags on Thursday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
