Southfield Michigan Works hosts free Starting a Business Workshop January 20

Southfield Michigan Works, in partnership with the Michigan Small Business Development Center, will host a free Starting a Business Workshop January 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Oakland County Michigan Works Southfield, 21030 Indian.
The Starting a Business Workshop is designed for individuals who are at the beginning stages of starting a business. A Business Consultant from the Michigan Small Business Development Center will help entrepreneurs assess their ability to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate the market and sales potential for their product or service. The workshop will cover start-up costs, financing options, business planning, as well as necessary steps to get businesses started.

Southfield Michigan Works Service Center of Oakland County is a division of the City of Southfield Department of Human Services in cooperation with Southfield Public Schools.
