Southfield Parks and Garden Club to sponsor 11th annual Garden Walk June 25

The Southfield Parks and Garden Club (SP&GC) will sponsor the 11th annual Southfield Garden Walk on Sunday, June 25 from 2-5 p.m. throughout 14 of the finest gardens in the San Marino neighborhood located near 12 Mile and Inkster Road.
Sign-in will be at the Fountain Park Office Plaza located at 29000 Inkster Road at the northeast corner of 12 Mile Road. A tour shuttle bus will make continuous loops at each garden stop including transportation to and from the parking area. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased in advance or on the day of the walk.
The Southfield Parks and Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to keep Southfield beautiful. The club is a grass-roots, city-wide organization whose members assist with various curb appeal initiatives to beautify yards, neighborhoods, parks and other public spaces throughout Southfield. The club also operates Emmanuel Community Farm that grows and harvests fresh, organic produce that is donated to Forgotten Harvest for those in need. All proceeds from the garden walk ticket sales will support the club’s charitable outreach efforts.
