Southfield Parks & Garden Club to hold Plant Swap October 27

The Southfield Parks and Garden Club (SP&GC) will host its annual Plant Swap on Sunday, October 27 from 1-4 p.m. at the Mary Thompson Farmhouse, 25630 Evergreen Road.

A large variety of perennials will be available for trade. Participants can pick up a plant with a donation or swap on a bring-one, take-one basis. Local beekeepers Royal Bee Honey will also be on site with fresh honey for sale. The Mary Thompson Farmhouse will also be open for complimentary tours provided by the Southfield Historical Society.

The Southfield Parks and Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to keeping Southfield beautiful. The all-volunteer group concentrates on litter pickups, planting flowers for the city, and maintaining the Emmanuel Community Farm.
