Southfield Parks & Recreation to Host Free Sports Day May 3

Southfield Parks and Recreation will host Free Spots Day on Tuesday, May 6 beginning at 10 a.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.
This special event offers families a fun, no-cost opportunity to explore the wide variety of youth sports programs offered through Southfield Parks & Recreation. Parents can meet coaches, ask questions, and learn more about each sport, while kids have the chance to try out sessions in soccer, flag football, and baseball/softball free of charge!
The following hour-long introductory sessions will be led by experienced coaches and recreation staff:
- Soccer with Coach Pierre Lamarre (Ages 4–14) from 10-11 a.m.;
- Flag Football with Made 4 Greatness (Ages 7–14) from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; and
- Baseball/Softball with Coach Corey Bell (Ages 4–14) from 1-2 p.m.
Come out, get active, and discover all the great youth sports Southfield has to offer! Participants are welcome to register for one or all three sessions. Space is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged to reserve a spot or call the Southfield Parks & Recreation Department at (248) 796-4620.
