The Southfield Parks and Recreation Department will host the Summer in the City concert series on select Fridays from June 23 – July 28 from 7-9 p.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road. 

Enjoy a beautiful summer evening with great music, food trucks and more. The 2023 Summer in the City concert lineup includes:

• Friday, June 23 – The Larry Lee & The Back in the Day Band will perform an eclectic blend of R&B, Funk and Pop.
• Friday, July 7  – Detroit RSVP All Stars will perform soul and R&B favorites.  
• Friday, July 21 – Straight Ahead virtuoso jazz ensemble will perform Jazz, R&B ballads avant-garde, Brazilian funk and more.  
• Friday, July 28 – The Circle of Sound Band will perform an eclectic blend of R&B, Jazz and Pop.  

Admission and parking are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
