Community encouraged to view exhibition at City Hall and vote for their favorite installation online
The city of Southfield is sponsoring the Southfield Photo Prize competition and outdoor exhibition this summer to showcase the natural and architectural beauty throughout the city. More than 90 submissions were received and initially reviewed by the Total Living Commission which selected the top 20 photos that will be eligible for public voting until August 18, 2017.
The community is encouraged to visit all of the finalists which have been enlarged and placed on display July 3 – August 18 on city hall and the parks & recreation building. To vote, click HERE and select your favorite photograph by clicking the circle directly next to it and then click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page. You may only vote for one entry per IP address. Additional votes from the same IP address will be ineligible. The photograph that receives the most overall votes will be announced at a public exhibition in September and featured in the City’s 2018 calendar including a photo credit. The other finalists may also be featured in the calendar and other city marketing materials.
