Attendees will be trained on proper administration of Intra-Nasal Narcan opioid overdose reversal drug
The Southfield Police and Fire Departments have partnered with the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities and the Southfield Community Anti-Drug Coalition to offer free Naloxone training on Tuesday, December 10 from 6-8 p.m. in the Southfield Public Library Meeting Room, 26300 Evergreen Road.
Attendees will be trained on the proper administration of the Intra-Nasal Narcan opioid overdose reversal drug. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to receive a Save A Life kit which includes two doses of 4mg Nasal Narcan. A valid driver’s license or State ID is required to receive the kit.
