Event will feature live music, food trucks and cash bar

The Southfield Parks & Recreation Department will host the Summer Wine Down on Friday, August 23 from 6–9:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Municipal Campus located at 26000 Evergreen Road.

This free outdoor concert will feature two great musical acts, food trucks, a cash bar (for adults 21 and over only), and an assortment of local vendors.

Straight Ahead will take the stage from 6-6:45 p.m. with their eclectic and soulful approach to mainstream jazz, contemporary jazz, Latin and jazzy hip-hop.  Alex Goss & Detroit Soul Rhythm Band will follow from 7-9:15 p.m. performing R&B and Soul music from the 70’s 80’s & 90’s.
