The City of Southfield will hold a Swearing-In Ceremony for the new Chief of Police Elvin Barren on Monday, July 29 at 10 a.m. in City Council Chambers, 26000 Evergreen Road. 

The event will feature remarks from several city officials including City Council President Lloyd Crews and City Administrator Fred Zorn. Refreshments will immediately follow in the lobby.
