Southfield Parks & Recreation to host Family Fun and Safety Night Wednesday, June 28

 The Southfield Parks & Recreation Department will host Family Fun and Safety Night Wednesday, June 28 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.

 

This free event will offer something for the entire family, including: a children’s fun area featuring inflatables (must wear socks), crafts, games and more. The Southfield Police Department’s K-9 Division, Mobile Command Unit, General Purpose Vehicle, ATV, Special Entry Response Team, Crime Prevention, Community Policing and Neighborhood Watch representatives will be on hand in addition to tours of the Southfield Fire Department’s Safety House. The event will feature representatives from United Healthcare and 105.1 The Bounce.

 

The evening will be topped off with a special family movie, The Secret Life of Pets, under the stars presented by Park*It Family Fun Nights. The movie will begin around 7:30 p.m. and run until approximately 9:00 p.m. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
