West Ten Mile Road will be closed at Pierce Street just west of Greenfield Road beginning Monday, June 19 through Thursday, August 31 for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main and paving repairs. During this time, a detour will be posted routing residents around the closure from Southfield Road to Mt. Vernon Street to Greenfield Road and vice versa. 

The hard closure will start at the Pierce Street intersection and extend west of Fairfax Street. Pierce Street, Southwood Drive and Maryland Street will not have access to 10 Mile during this time. Pedestrian access will be maintained with signed pedestrian detours as needed.
