The city of Southfield, in partnership with First Baptist Church of Detroit and Lathrup Village, will host a CROP Hunger Walk Sunday, June 11 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Detroit, 21200 Southfield Road.

Registration for the Southfield/Lathrup CROP Hunger Walk will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the three mile walk following at 1:30 p.m. Twenty-five percent of all donations from the CROP Hunger Walk will benefit Southfield Human Services’ Emergency Food Program, Meals on Wheels and the Salvation Army. CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Services and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.
