Better Business Bureau sponsors 'Secure Your ID' – FREE Document Shredding Saturday, May 13

The Better Business Bureau will sponsor the 'Secure Your ID' – FREE Community Document Shredding day on Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Southfield A&T High School parking lot located at 24675 Lahser Road. PLEASE NOTE: the event location was changed from the Southfield Municipal Complex to Southfield A&T High School. 

 

The BBB and its partners are providing free document shredding, computer hardware & electronic device recycling, hard-drive destruction and cell phone collection. All attendees must be in line by 12:30 p.m.

Shred-it

Shred-it will accept three paper bags or cardboard banker’s boxes of sensitive paper to shred at no charge. There is a $10.00 fee per bag or box after the initial three. Proceeds will benefit the BBB Educational Foundation.

GEEP:

Free collection of used desktop PCs, laptops, keyboards, monitors, printers, televisions, mice, hard drives, speakers, radios, cameras, clocks and DVD and VCR players by Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP). Used cell phone donations accepted with proceeds to benefit the BBB Educational Foundation.
