The Southfield Parks & Recreation Department will host Winter Fest on Sunday, March 1 from 2–4:30 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion, 26000 Evergreen Road.

This free community event will feature an afternoon of indoor and outdoor fun for the entire family. Guests can enjoy snow tubing and an Iditarod program along with pictures with the TUN-DRA Kennels Sled Team at the Southfield Public Library. The outdoor fun will also include marshmallow roasting and horse-drawn carriage rides to the Southfield Sports Arena for free ice skating. Guests are also invited to warm up inside the Southfield Pavilion with inflatable games, an exhibit of 40 different reptiles and amphibians from Nature Discovery and face painting.
