Detroit Institute of Arts’ Inside|Out outdoor art exhibit returns to Southfield May-November
October 2, 2022
The city of Southfield has again been selected to take part in the Detroit Institute of Arts’ (DIA) Inside|Out outdoor art exhibition. Now in its 13th year, Inside|Out brings framed reproductions of masterpieces from the DIA’s collection to the streets and parks of the metro area – pleasantly surprising and delighting residents of the participating communities. The exhibition will be on display from May 11 until mid-November featuring seven high-quality reproductions located throughout the Donald F. Fracassi Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.
Detailed maps outlining the location of each reproduction will be available in City Hall, in the current issue of Southfield Living city newsletter, downloaded from the City’s website, or viewed interactively at:
“The Inside|Out program is not only a great way to showcase some of the DIA’s most famous masterpieces, but also the beauty of the city of Southfield as the perfect backdrop,” commented Community Relations Director Michael Manion. “We are very excited to be able to bring art to public places thanks to this innovative cultural arts program.”
