SECTION 11 WATER MAIN REHABILITATION

City staff and the engineering consulting firm, Hubbell, Roth and Clark, (HRC) will be present an overview of the project at 5:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. to review project details and schedule. Opportunity to review the detailed plans and ask questions will be provided at the end of each presentation. City staff and the engineering consulting firm, Hubbell, Roth and Clark, (HRC) will also be present to address any questions or concerns.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

• Replacement of approximately 6,050 feet of water main with 8” C900 PVC pipe.
• The majority of the water main will be replaced via pipe bursting and directional drilling, methods of trenchless construction, to minimize the surface disturbance and speed the rate of construction.
• All existing 6” water mains will be upgraded to 8” water main for improved fire flows.
• Work will begin March 11, 2024, and is expected to be completed by August 1, 2024.
• This $2.1 Million investment will result in long term improvements for your neighborhood.
• Flyers will be delivered to affected properties 1-2 days in advance of scheduled interruptions to water service.
