Southfield Parks & Recreation will host Free Sports Day on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  at Civic Center Park, 26000 Evergreen Road. Free Sports Day provides parents the opportunity to see what sports are offered by the Parks & Recreation Department and gives players a chance to try out a new sport. Kids can take part in a soccer, flag football and/or t-ball lesson. 
 
Parents can register for one, two or all three sessions for their child to try.

• Soccer  from 10-11 a.m. for ages: 4-14; 
• Flag Football  from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for ages: 7-14; and 
• T-ball/Baseball from 1-2 p.m. for  ages: 4-14.
