The Southfield Fire Department, in cooperation with Providence Hospital and Safe Kids Oakland County, is happy to offer FREE Child Car Seat Safety Checks and Installation training. 

Sessions are available, by appointment only, on the first Thursday of each month, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The training takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete and attendees will leave confident in their ability to install a child car seat. Each car seat requires its own session/appointment (i.e. if you have 2 seats you would like checked/installed, you need to sign up for 2 appointment slots) so sign up for appointments accordingly. 

Training takes place at Southfield Fire Station #5, 24477 Lahser Road, Southfield, MI 48033. Follow signs to pull into the appropriate bay for your appointment.
